I've just found out I'm pg with #3 - a lot earlier than planned!! DD will be 16 months and DS will be 3 around the time the new baby is born. Now that the reality has sunk in i'm a bit worried how i'll cope in the early days.

Has anyone else got 3 this close together or does anyone have any tips for making it as stress free as possible? I'm not sleeping at the moment with the panicking!!

I had the same age gap almost, 15 months between nos 2 and 3. I found it was not half as bad as I thought. DS2 still slept in the morning and afternoon. He was still in nappies (I used cloth for both Clary too!). In some ways the close age gap made life easier I think. DS3 just fitted in. I managed much better going from 2 children to 3 than when I had my second. I also breastfed which meant I could feed 'on the run' so to speak Smile

Hi, thanks everyone for all the encouraging posts. I'm feeling slightly less panicky now I've seen how many of you have survived it! TBH I think the anticipation is worse than the actual reality but I'm sure I'll be back on here at the end of the year begging for all your advice Smile.

Thanks again,
