Mucous Plug 30 weeks

Hiya all hoping for some wise words (or wiser than me)
I am just under 30 weeks had a lot if problems stemming from scar tissue and placenta previa and 5 weeks ago they didn't think I would make it this far. But after more scans and things settling down they are confident I will go to term or at least to ELCS at 37/38 weeks.
Well about a month ago I started getting Braxton Hicks very strong have had them regularly every day since worse at night.
I mentioned this to consultant who was a little concerned it may trigger an irritable uterus but other than that was ok.
Today and yesterday I seem to be losing a kit if gloopy discharge little balls (sorry tmi)
With my last pregnancy my mucous plug came away much later 36 weeks came in a big lump and was very bloody also going into labour wasn't that scary a thought at that time.
I didn't go into labour and was induced but I guess my question is - is this the mucous plug and should I be concerned?
Any advice appreciated there has been no bleeding which is my primary concern with placenta previa but do not want to go into labour! Too early and would need EMCS eek!
I am Probably worrying over nothing from scary consultants and their worse case scenarios as I think the mucous plug can come away and regenerate but I could be wrong?
Sorry to go on! Help please? X

My mucus plug started coming away at 26wks, it regenerates though, unless it becomes very bloody, then I wouldn't be concerned xx

I started losing bits at 28 weeks with this and last pregnancy, nice stringy bits of yellow green snotty stuff, with occasional brown blood. I find it's worse On days when I have lots of bh.

horrible stuff yuck! Wouldn't normally worry but don't like the idea the BHs are doing anything

Well tbh, the bh didn't do anything for me apart from the mp. Dd arrived at 39w6days and I'm not expecting this baby to be early either!

That's good but already been in hospital with bleeds for placenta previa so if they can move the mp could trigger a bleed. Wasn't concerned about them last pregnancy at all but if I have a bad bleed baby may need to come early Sad

When I phoned about losing my mucous plug at 32 weeks, they told me to go in straight away. They wanted to check the cervix wasn't altering (it was). I know some people lose theirs a bit earlier, and some say theirs regenerates, but this is uncommon. I would get it checked if I were you.

Thanks I'll give them a ring prob fine but better to be the over cautious mum than to sit here worrying x

Been over cautious is normal, I was in every week, with plug coming away, bleeds, trickles all the works x

Lol called midwife she said it was up to me if I wanted to come in and get checked out however as I have had nothing since last night I declined being high risk I end up staying in and due to the positioning of my placenta any changes to the cervix would cause a bleed. Been told to put
My feet up and come in if I have any changes thanks for the advice ladies x x
