Having a look to see if there are any in my area and they are all during the day. Monday at 9, tuesday at 11 etc. I work full time and its just not practical to get time off for them. Why don't they do them weekends or evenings?! Sorry rant over

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
RightUpMyRue · 14/12/2012 17:02

They don't seem to do them at all in my area unless you go to the very expensive health club which requires you buy a membership and then pay for the classes to!

Dandelion75 · 14/12/2012 18:18

Yep - all during the working day over here too. Who on earth is managing to get to these classes at 10am? Every pg woman I know is either at work, or at home caring for DC's at that time of day.

'Tis rubbish Angry

People on maternity leave, I'd guess.

Dandelion75 · 14/12/2012 18:28

I guess so lynette. Which means most people will only get the chance of a couple of weeks of classes in before their due date Confused

My work let you have time off for pg exercise classes. They counted it as an antenatal appt. I used to go to pg Pilates at 11 on Mondays and work through lunch.

If you are in the north west I've just discovered puddle ducks do some in the evening!

LittlemissChristmas · 14/12/2012 18:58

Puddle ducks do one about a 45 min drive from me on a sat am so might look at trying that one. But is it worth a 1.5 hr return journey?
Glad I'm not the only one to notice it!
Taking time of work is near impossible logistically so not worth it.

Who want's to go through all the faff of getting changed with a huge bump, to wallow around in not very warm water anyway? Two weeks is enough for anyone to realise it's over rated. Grin

It's the same at my local pool and it really annoys me too! I am going swimming once a week in the evenings and find it really good exercise, much more comfortable than walking. I'm going to give the aquanatal class a try once I go on maternity leave but it will only be for a few weeks.
