... Who were in ASDA today and saw me throwing up. God, it was awful. I nearly fainted and am still feeling faint now on and off and I have been drinking loads of water (3 pints so far).

This is pretty dreadful (:

You poor thing!

I'm not pregnant but remember a bunch of workmen watching me honk into a bag in Morrisons carpark .... there were HOLES in the bottom Blush I was only a few months so no bump, I must've looked like a drug addict or something?!

I also LAY down on the floor of Asda at 9 months pregnant as I was so dizzy!

ThreeWheelsGood · 13/12/2012 18:25

Aw, poor you!

That's a lot of water - have you tried nibbling on anything to up your blood sugar levels? I always felt sick if I was hungry, despite not fancying anything to eat!

purrpurr · 13/12/2012 18:25

Well if you have to vomit spectacularly anywhere, might as well do it in Asda. They won't mind, they're all about the Mums - probably whisked your puke off for analysis to get more marketing ideas.

On a serious note, masses of sympathy for you. Hope you're getting cuddles and TLC

MyLittleAprilSunshine · 13/12/2012 18:27

Oh yes well I nearly fell onto the floor as nearly fainted, so lucky my Mum was there too so she held me up. I was sick into a bag and it had a hole in so it spilt all over the floor. Luckily the local doctor asked if I was alright and a few passers by offered to call a doctor and that, must've looked pretty damn grim!

I could feel the ground moving and I am 23+4 so not in first few months or anything.

It was pretty traumatic now I'm afraid to walk alone now incase I fall, faint or puke. :(

I still feel faint now... Is it going to go away or do I really need to check blood pressure or something?

Thanks everyone! :)

I hope it doesn't happen again. Was sick a few weeks ago, but didn't get the dizziness.

No harm in calling your midwife team for advice, sounds horrible. Get lots of rest and get your mum or someone to look after you!

redwellybluewelly · 13/12/2012 19:59

I would call your mw, sounds like you might need your blood pressure checking

MyLittleAprilSunshine · 14/12/2012 14:40

So far so good today. Not going to do anything too tiring though, just incase. See how it goes. If it happens again within the next couple of days I'm going to call the mw.
