Not sure if it's pregnancy related or not but on and off for the past 2 weeks I've had upset stomach......starting to piss me off now! Anyone else had the same ? X

I'd suspect that it is morning sickness and yes, most of us will be or have felt that to greater or lesser extent I'd guess. Take it as a positive sign that your body is going through wonderful changes. How far along are you?

Currently curled up in bed with upset stomach and abdo pain! Have you tried having regular probiotics to regulate your digestive system?

Nicky1306 · 03/12/2012 20:29

Scuba is the bottom end rather than vomiting Blush not tried probiotics..... Good idea, will get those once a day drinks x

I get diarrhoea rather than MS in early pregnancy. It's annoying but goes away after the first few week. Feel better soon.

TimeyWimeyStuff · 03/12/2012 20:33

Ah, we're at the same stage. I get it sometimes now, swaying from constipation to diarrhoea. I blame the various pressures the baby is exerting.

HavingALittleFaithBaby · 03/12/2012 20:33

I'm generally at the opposite end of the spectrum (especially since I'm on codiene!) but I have a Yakult a day which seems to help!

katesav87 · 03/12/2012 20:39

I'm like this to 15 weeks and either have constipation or severe diarrohea. Not a good look at work :-( dong remember it with dd1 but must be pregnancy related as not usually like this xx

Sounds horrible, I hope it calms down for you soon. I had this every morning as soon as I ate anything, and it'd go on for ages preventing me setting off to work up until week 12, it was horrible. The midwife said its hormones making smooth muscle in your intestines relax, and that it was probably better than throwing up, I've been so lucky not to have vomiting as well!

Hippolyta20 · 05/12/2012 07:58

I get this too.

Usually manage to get back to normal if drink more water, eat more fruit/veg/fibre and stay as active as possible. Ie all the things we know we are meant to do but are too exhausted/hormonal to bother doing Xmas Grin

I also drink peppermint tea or take a peppermint oil capsule if feeling bad. This is meant to be ok in moderation (see "babycentre") but if your not sure then maybe check with your midwife first if she is happy for you to take it.

I am 21 weeks.
