As some of the others said, it depends how you would feel having this stuff hanging around if anything did happen. Sadly I have been though this, I had 2 mc's before my DS (who's now feeding away as I type!). We were able to put the bits and pieces in the loft for next time as I was optimistic that we would have a baby by some means! Smile
Part of my plan was to buy a lot of the expensive stuff second hand and I had specific brands that I wanted (natures nest, cot, certain types of reusable nappy) so I scoured eBay and if I found amazing bargains I got them! It was hard but now I know that I've saved so much money that I potentially will have an extra month or two on maternity leave the pang I felt seeing seeing those things packed away in between seems worth it... Practical but true. Grin

sorry to hear about your mcs, Kelbels

Agree with the ebay tip - it is worth setting up saved searches for large items which may be collection only in your area, to give you plenty of time to find them. Anything which you haven't found secondhand in a few months' time, you can buy in the sales.

I had my first at age 20, the second 18 months later. I had my third at 28 and the fourth at 30.... Now at 37 I have been desperate to start trying for another baby, and as soon as my OH agreed to try, I started shopping for small things. I say go for it...

I’m 20 weeks. After reading these, I think I’ve decided to wait to start buying stuff until after my 30 week scan. I’ve been given maternity clothes and have bought one or two things. I’m scared incase I tempt fate and something bad happens. Anyone else feel like this xx
