Anyone else found themselves to be MUCH more needy and insecure with their partner during pregnancy?!
In my last trimester now, and hoping that I will turn back to the confident, self assured person I used to be when my hormones have
eventually settled!
Just finding myself to be quite clingy, particularly during/after arguments, and have a terrible sense of abandonment at the drop of a hat!! Very embarrassing behaviour, and not in keeping with the person I consider myself to be...

Yeah I am a bit like this at the mo when I'm not usually. Had an anxiety dream last night that I couldn't find DH and just have a general feeling of wanting to be around him all the time, when before I was quite glad to have time to myself or to go out without him. Luckily he doesn't mind my clinginess in the slightest. I think a lot of women when PG feel more vulnerable than usual. I'm expecting it to slowly wear off afterwards. We are tough cookies!!!

No! I'm far more independent, sort of tiger mum feeling. I feel I need to be strong and protective.

Hormones are weird, they change us all differently.

Yes, I'm definitely more clingy and cuddly than I ever have been before. Thankfully my hubby loves it as he's a very tactile and cuddly man. But usually I'm very independent and quite happy with my own company. Also feeling the abandonment thing at a drop of a hat, usually when he's out to work... What's up with that? Logic versus hormones.... Hormones are winning grrrrrr!!

Very much. Really odd and not how I would normally feel at all. Glad it's not just me!

I am a weird combination of insecure and narky (I am just a joy to be around Wink.

I cannot WAIT to get back to my normal, confident, outgoing self post pregnancy!

Yep totally understand, if it's any consollation and don't know if your dp feels the same but when I apologised for general weapy clinginess last week mine said it's actually making him feel like an important part of the whole pregnancy because I am normally so independent!!
