Boy/ girl - Genital nub theory?!?

Has anyone heard of this? Had my 12 week scan a few weeks ago, showed it to a woman at my work & she started screaming excitedly that I'm having a girl due to the position of genital nub?
I googled it and apparently the nub (white glowing thing between legs) lies horizontally if it's going to develop into a clitoris and become a girl (obv!) or point upwards at an angle of more than 30 degrees if it's going to develop into a penis?
I already have a boy so was beside myself with excitement at the thought I was having a girl till I came back to earth and realised its prob a lot of nonsense. Any one else heard of this or driving themselves crazy reading upon Chinese gender charts, heart rate theories, skull shape theories????

Teamster that little pee pee that you thought you saw was probably the nub! Lol! If only you'd read this post before the scan you could have analysed whether it was flat or pointing at an angle!. . . Then again it could possibly have just been a bit of cord!!

The Chinese chart and nub theory said I was having a boy last time. DD is 13 months .

OK that's spooky, I looked up DS and DD and they are both correct!
This one says I will have a DS.

Zombie thread. But the nub is not a theory. It's observation of early developing genitals. When done by a trained person it's usually right, unless unclear in some way. Skull/Chinese chart - well you have a 50% chance...

I think its a load of crap . My baby scan has an obvious "girl nub " , he is a boy ! The skull theory said boy so I would be more inclined to believe that one .
