I just welled up at the John Denver song on the TalkTalk advert, and earlier when I couldn't find a parking spot near my house, and so got my feet wet walking the 50m from car to home. Yesterday I actually cried just thinking about last year's John Lewis advert with the little boy who can't wait to give his parents a Christmas present.
I'm only 7 weeks pregnant, please tell me it'll get better! Am I going to start doing this at work?!(Or make me feel better by telling me daft stuff thats set you off too? Smile)

I've got legally blonde the musical in my car...sobbed at ten past 8 in the morning on my way to work at the happy ending. Couldn't stop crying for at least an our after either! I was about 12 weeks then. Blush

I cried because my yogurt was apricot and I wanted strawberry

I also cried because the traffic lights took too long to change and I wanted to cross the road

I'm not pregnant now but I'd probably cry if they were to happen again...

I have to read lots of books about both world wars for work at the moment and am crying whenever anyone dies. Do you have ANY IDEA how many people died in those wars? Plenty. I don't think this counts as a ludicrous reason to cry but it's definitely not constructive.

I've been much less cryey second time around, first time was an utter nightmare. And I didn't stop crying at stupid things until DS was about a year old - I was bf and think the hormones just kept coming.

This is my 3rd time round, not a tear was shed first time, last time I welled up a bit but was mostly under control, this time the flood gates have definitely opened!!

I cried on Saturday night becasue DH woke me up because I was snoring really loudly and I was convinced that I wouldn't get back to sleep for ages and I was so tired all I wanted to do was sleep. And then I cried some more at the thought of not being able to get back to sleep. And I knew I was crying over something ludicrous and still couldn't stop.

5 minutes later I was asleep again.

This will out me to my sis if she reads this...when I was pg with DS, I cried hysterically when I went to brush my teeth and I'd forgotten to charge my toothbrush Blush

I got really weepy last night because I couldn't stop laughing! Apparently the funniest thing in the world was that runny yolks rhymes with funny jokes! Hmm It was so uncontrollable that I very nearly started sobbing because I couldn't stand up!
Need to do the shopping today & am terrified that it'll happen again! Also have a wedding to go to next weekend & am scared I'll go mad while I'm there! Crying at a wedding is acceptable & excusable... Laughing so hard you fall off your chair, not so much! I'm only 4 weeks & haven't told anyone except DH in RL so am really worried they'll all guess!

For DS, I remember crying for a whole evening because of a stain on the sofa.
For DD, I once cried so much that I had to take the day off because I had missed my tram on the way to work.

Do not watch the new Anna Karenina film whilst pregnant!! I had read the book and loudly sobbed my way through the film in anticipation! I came out of the cinema utterly traumatised. Anything with small boys....I found that last time this heightened emotion thing lasted until I stopped breastfeeding...in my case when ds was 2 years! That's alot of tears Grin.

DontSayWhatSayPardon · 30/09/2012 20:03

Cried at Doctor Who. Absolutely SOBBED at ET yesterday. Had to turn it over. Burst into tears in the middle of John Lewis on Friday cos DS had a tantrum. Just cried from laughing at Henry being a bad penguin name. Pregnancy makes you mental Wink

I cried on the phone to DH last week because I'd arranged to go out to a movie after work, but then thought about how I wouldn't see DD before she went to bed. She's 4. I've been out since she was born. Confused
