just checked my notes and realised I don't have a 20 or 24 wk appointment. It's a bit of a gap or have others experienced this? Can't remember what I had previously. I'm under consultant care also so thought they might want to see me at least once in between.

Hi,

I'm under shared care after pre-eclampsia with my first baby. Because of that, I'm seeing the midwife at 21 weeks, 24, 28, then every two weeks until hopefully around due date. She said that I could book extra appointments with her or the nurse to check wee and BP for peace of mind, every week if I wanted!

So don't be afraid to book yourself in with someone for a check. Smile

Thanks Kurly. I need to do that. As someone mentioned above I think the last mw put me on the low-risk schedule by mistake as she wasn't quite sure what I was explaining I was tired and didn't really concentrate on what she was scribbling.

That is norm in my area, however what happens here if you are under consultant care is when you have your 20 weeks scan you also see the consultant afterwards at the hospital. So that may be the case where you are.

I have never seen a gp for anything to do with either of my pregnancies.

Same here for DC2, but had scan appointment at 20 weeks
