I'm 32 weeks pg and I just tried to help dh adjust the wardrobes in our bedroom, involving lots of stretching, leaning, supporting heavy cupboards and bending down to pick up dropped screws.

Needless to say it reduced me to tears.

In my defence, dh told me beforehand that it would be 'not too heavy' Angry

Moved the entire contets of our four bedroom rental house into the spare room! Including the sofa, wardrobes and a large sideboard! ON MY OWN! God only knows how I managed it! I was big as a house! Shock

Running til 37 weeks pregnant.

Fell off my bike at about 34 weeks.

Went hiking on Dartmoor (big stiles) in the middle of winter at 38 weeks.

Used to pick up coal insacks and load into car on my own refusing the very helpful salesmans offer of assistance every time (until the end).

Just got worse with DC2 ...

I painted the bathroom the day before ds was due. I decided I didn't like the colour so I went and bought paint and got on with it. 2 weeks later I decided I didn't really like that colour either but 2 kids and 8 years later it's still the same as I haven't had time or energy to do it since.

Last week while on a job I stood on a roll-y spin-y desk chair to adjust a drapery tension rod...of course the chair spun. Then rolled. And I had to catch myself by hanging onto the door. Blush

Have you had a baby yet...?

I have neglected to ask DS (nearly two) to read the hand out from my midwife which tells me not to lift anything too heavy Hmm. It's even illustrated with a helpful picture of a woman carrying a toddler.

I assume the toddler in this photo is compliant! I must have looked a right state carrying my screamer out of the doctors surgery under one arm today at 36 weeks Hmm
