How early can you feel baby moving?

Surely 12ish weeks is too early? I've had a sort of weird feeling (while sitting in chair at desk working this afternoon) of being tickled from the inside. Isn't this what first movements are supposed to feel like? But I'm only 12 + 2 and baby is only 5cm (according to Monday's scan) Confused Is it just my digestive system at work?

With DS1 I felt movement early (can't remember when) and actual kicks at 15 weeks.

With DS2 (current pregnancy) I only felt movements at 21 weeks and kicks at 22.

Aaahhhh - maybe it is baby moving! It's my first, so things are still relatively taut in my stomach region (sonographer actually commented on my 'strong stomach muscles' at the scan).

I started getting a tapping feeling at around 15 weeks with first baby. Everyone told me I would feel 'flutters like a butterfly' but I felt like I was being gently tapped from the inside!

13 weeks for me - everyone said it was too early but it was definitely fluttering which got more intense as the weeks developed.

I'm 12+1 with dc5 and started feeling movement this week. With dd3 I felt it at 13 weeks and mentioned it to my midwife who thought out perfectly possible.

I felt definite kicks at 14 weeks with DC1 - everyone said it was too early, but I know what I felt! In fact DH agreed with me as if I lay onmy front on DH's hand he could feel them as early as 16 weeks.

I think it depends where your placenta is - I didn't feel anything till 19 or 20 weeks, but apparently I have an anterior placenta (ie at the front) which means you tend not to feel movement as early as other people.
