What does a uti feel like?

So i have reached the grand old age of 30 without ever having a UTI, I am now 26wks pregnant with dc2. I went to the loo 15mins ago and I haven't stopped stinging (not sure if this is the right word) down there since, even though I have had a shower. Should I book a dr's appt or is it just another weird pregnancy symptom?

I would book an appointment. Take a sample with you and they will know straight away if you have an infection (will still need to send it off to be sure). It does sound like an infection to me it can be hard to tell though. Hope you feel better

It sounds like a UTI to me. Drink as much water as you can manage and lots of cranberry juice. Get to dr ASAP as if I remember correctly UTI's are not great during pregnancy but some antibiotics should clear it up pretty sharpish.

I always describe UTI's as like someone holding a lit cigarette up your Mary but maybe that's just me!
