i feel awful, really terrible. I'm only 6 weeks pregnant, have had sickness for three weeks, I now can hardly eat anything and I'm totally exhausted... as in an hour after getting up I'm, asleep again for three hours! This is my second pregnancy so i thought i knew what to expect.

I feel nausous (sp?) all the time rather than actually vomiting. I think I have been awake for a total of 7 hours today.

I had to have emergency surgery 2 weeks ago... suspected ectopic that turned out to be a cyst, lost lots of blood and had a general. Could it just be this? So worried this is gonna last for months.

Spinach - in my last preg I saw a homeopath and he said that there are 2 main types of " normal" monring sickness - the kind when you throw up then feel better and the kind you have, and I had, when you feel sick ALL DAY but never vomit. I found my nausea was temporarily relieved by eating. He also prescribed something called Nux Vom which helped. I also thought the bands made a difference. Worth a try anyway......

BTW Thomcat - you are wrong - MY 3 month old baby is the cutest in the world, not yours Wink

can i get nux vom from boots?

not sure. the thing with homeopathic remedies is that they are different for each person, so that might not be the right one for you . sorry I dont know enought about it to know why this is the case.

Could you not see someone - it cost me nothing to consult him and the pills were about £4

I think some will do phone consultations. I woudl just be worried about you taking soemthing when pregnant without getting medical advice.

Nux Vomica can be found at boots and is worth trying. It is not a problem to take in pregnancy and you may find it works or doesn't....

Floradix is a great source of iron in pg which is easily digested. I found it worked well for my energy levels.
