Baby sling?

Now, there seems to be rather a lot out there! I want one that I can attach LO to me round the house so my hands are free but she's close to me.

Any ideas about brands or things I should be looking for?

How old? For a new baby you really can't go wrong with a stretchy wrap like a Moby or Kari-me. They let baby snuggle and have a snooze while you get on with other things.
They look scary but are actually really easy after a couple of tries to practice Smile

For a tiny baby you can't beat a stretchy wrap sling. Moby and Kari-Me are well know brands. Moby comes in more colours. The wrap looks tricky at first but becomes second nature. You can get a Close carrier which is similar but 'ready made'.

I'm hoping to use the babasling, PIL bought it for us as a present.

I have bought a close carrier which looks fab and super easy to put on. Cant wait to use it! DD due next week :)

I've got a babasling too, was given to me by a friend. Looks fairly easy to use and keeps babs close

I've used the close carrier with both of mine and can't recommend it highly enough Grin Used easily every day from new born to about a year old (you can use it for longer but that's when baby gets a bit heavy for me!) Easily adjusted from your size to OH size too x

Babasling seems to be the marmite of carriers - people either love it or hate it! I didn't get on with it when DS was newborn, but loved it once he was a couple of months old. Only thing to really avoid is the carriers like baby bjorn, stokke, tomy etc which don't offer knee to knee support and will be painful to use in a very short space of time.
