It's my second pregnancy and nothing like that happened the first time. DC1 was head down weeks and weeks before the end of the pregnancy and stayed put.
This little guy, however, seems to like turning around. A couple of weeks ago I felt my bump was very weird, with one big hard lump on the side, as if the baby was transverse. Of course I couldn't check, but that's how it felt like.
Now it is even weirder. It feels like he is entirely at one side, making very strong movements, and the bottom half of the bump hurts. I'm even having some period cramps, but trying not to get paranoid.
Has this happened to any of you?
It doesn't feel 'wrong', but feels very uncomfortable and a bit painful, and it would be nice to hear of similar stories. I think I just want some reassurance that it is normal and will be over soon.
I've been doing inversions (like I've read in the spinning babies website) and using the birthing ball. And I'm about to go on a bath. Is there anything else I can do to help this guy to complete his big somersault?
