Hi I am finally pregnant albeit at 6 wks after waiting 20 decades to make sure I was with the right man to have a family with and I am really surprised how different it feels. Firstly, I am older in my early 40s and my last baby sadly died of a brain haemmorage at 2 wks old with that pregnancy I was in my early 20s and had morning sickness like you wouldn't believe. Secondly, this time around and (prays the pregnancy sticks!) I am having no morning sickness just nauseus and extremely tired and constipated!!!! Have my first midwife appointment tomorrow afternoon I do have sore boobs and at night I am restless as I feel twinges in my sides is this all normal?

Yes! I had nausea without vomiting and the twinges could well be your womb starting to grow and stretch. Try not to worry - it seems normal. So sorry about your other baby.

ps - 20 decades!! I'm impressed. Grin

At the time my first baby died the nurses said leave it a few years before you have another one but circumstances just made it nearly 20 years later!!!! I brought a book called the Fertility Plan and meant to follow it for 3 months to conceive but it took me a month! I stopped taking vit c 100mg, cut out caffine, and alchohol started eating more watercress and green tea with lemon. Took my BTT every day used ovulating sticks and viola with the help of my husband success!!!! Going to do the big announcement of facebook after the 12 wk scan as it's early days and am being very cautious.
