i had a horrible experiance with last pregnancy and ended up with PTSD i complained to the hospital, all that has calmed down and i know i cant go to a different hospital for this baby but the midwives at my gps are still conected with the hospital and know about my complaint. this makes me feel very uncomfortable and i dont want to deal with this, is there anyway around not having to see them?

You should be able to choose which hospital you go to. When I went to my GP I was given a choice of 3 local hospitals (admittedly I'm in London).

Have you checked your preferred hospital's website to see if you can self-refer?

I thought that the community midwives were part of the hospital. Here, if you opt to have the baby at the local hospital you can see the midwife when they're at the GP surgery. If you opt to go out of area to another hospital then you have to travel to the hospital for midwife appointments. You could ring the hospital you prefer and ask what would happen if you go for them instead of the local one.

I'm not using our local hospital but still seeing the community midwives at the gp surgery
Just go to the hospital for scans and blood tests as they like to do their own by all accounts
