I don't wear nightdresses - where will I find open front ones for my hospital bag?!

I got some from Primark.

I found one in matalan. Front opening but a little short for a chocolate tester's thighs so I wear it with pj bottoms too. Cheap and cheerful, perfect for hospital.

I got some from mothercare buy one get one 1/2 price. Try the supermarkets too.

I just bought a couple of these www.marksandspencer.com/Henley-Neck-Sleeve-Minishirt-Modal/dp/B001RITFUA?ie=UTF8&ref=sr_1_69&nodeId=61306031&sr=1-69&qid=1347182152 which were buy one get one half price in the shop at the minute. They only open up half way, but I've tried and can get good boob access in them! I do have a short neck to boob area though and anything low cut flashes my boobs anyway, so they might not work for everyone. I never wear nighties so will probably put pyjama bottoms underneath, but I thought these were some of the least grannyish ones I'd seen!

BHS have quite a selection of ones that open at the front. Not somewhere I'd usually look but was pleasantly surprised!

gardenpixies32 · 09/09/2012 14:06

Next had nice button in the front ones.

Jakeyblueblue · 09/09/2012 16:08

I got mine from primark. Not sure if this is your first, but if you are anything like me and have a long labour, you may need quite a few. Primark's are only a fiver and wash really well. Ds is 14 months and I still wear them now as great breastfeeding access!

LittleLolly · 09/09/2012 16:47

I bought some yesterday from primark. Knee length nightshirt types with buttons to the boobs! £4.50 each so can go in the bin if they are too grim to wash!

noblegiraffe · 09/09/2012 17:32

I got Mothercare ones with poppers, that you can just rip open for access. I'd avoid ones with fiddly buttons.

SlightlySuperiorPeasant · 09/09/2012 17:57

I got mine from BHS and M&S. Honestly though, this time I'm packing 1 nightie in case I have a c-section but will otherwise stick with button-up pyjamas.

Flisspaps · 09/09/2012 18:27

I just wore a normal jersey strappy nightie and a black vest top and trouser pyjama set.

lolo99 · 09/09/2012 20:11

thanks Smicha they look great for hospital. Not too short either to protect my bum on show as long as possible hehe.

I got two pairs of slouchy pj bottoms from primark (£6 each) and a couple of nursing vest tops from h and m for two - one black one white. I'll wear those to bed in hospital and probably for the first few days at home.

Msbluesky32 · 08/03/2013 10:44

The nursing tops are £15 for two

ladymia · 08/03/2013 11:48

Primark for sure!

Fakebook · 08/03/2013 13:27

Primark, and if you don't normally wear them, you can throw them away afterwards without feeling guilty. Get a size bigger though because your bump won't go away completely after birth.

CityDweller · 08/03/2013 13:32

I just bought this one from M&S (they were doing a Mother's Day sale, so got it for £10). It seems perfectly fine - nice fabric, easy boob access, etc.
