No idea if dd or da but most our under 6 month stuff unisex anyway.

So I need:

A few new babygrows so it know the lovey feeling of new clothes and doesn't only have hand me downs

New born nappies

Infacol

New bottles and teats and newborn formula (intend to mix feed from early on)

Possibly new Moses basket mattress (really?)

Present for dd from baby and for baby from dd

Maternity pads and breast pads.

Anything else?

Pushchair/ buggy board if you have a young dc1,

cotton wool, top n tail bowl/wipes, sudocreme, hat n scratch mits (old mits might be chewed /sucked beyond recognition).

Yes to the new mattress. You've done well if you have unisex stuff up to six months, it's like gold dust in shops near me! Does depend too if you have friends/relatives who'll give you presents. Oh and clothes are affected by seasons - the snowsuit you had for dc1 might fit dc2 in the middle of July.

With the disclaimer of having one dd only, I've always thought that I'd splash out on a new packet of muslins. I've lost quite a few. And they're looking rough, frankly.

Muslins great idea - dd never threw up so never used them but still no idea where they went. Strewn around house being use as rags and teatowels I think.

Ah yes double buggy - my dp getting us that.

This baby due same month as dd was (two years apart) so seasons should be ok

Op - I had to work v hard at the unisex stuff. People bought is loads of pink but everything I bought was unisex (though often classed as boy in shops). Sainsburys and Next quite good at stripey or animal babygrows.

I had a non-throwing-up first one, and a serial puker for no.2, so muslins may well come in handy!
