Im 34+3 weeks and i went to my midwife appointment today. She said baby wasnt engaged (i had a feeling she wasnt as i can feel her head near my ribs) and although she wasnt concerned up to now, most babies have turned by now.

She mentioned that baby has 3 weeks to turn otherwise its very unlikely after that, that baby will turn and therefore i will have to have a C-Section.

They cant turn baby manually as im seen as a risk factor due to being Rh Neg blood.

How likely will baby turn does anyone know?

Afraid I can't help as i'm not sure either but watching thread as I'm similar but a week behind you.
Have you looked at the spinning babies website?
I've also found this pdf which has a handy run down of things to do that can help: www.birthingnaturally.net/birth/challenges/turnbaby.pdf

I have two friends whose babies turned with acupuncture. Would recommend giving it a go!

I had this with my first and she turned after I started swimming every day. Midwife suggested it to me and it worked like a dream!

I had an ECV at 37+4 to try to turn DS and I am Rhesus Negative. It wasn't an issue at all.

They just give you an anti-D afterwards, which is no big deal compared to the ECV itself which was pretty toe-curling.

The ECV failed and I had a planned C Section at 39+3. DS was 8lb 15 so there really wasn't much room for him to manoeuvre during the ECV, so its no surprise that he wouldn't budge, despite 15 minutes of wrestling.

Even knowing that it was painful, given the chance I would do it again. My reasoning was that I could try the ECV and it might fail, in which case I would have a section, or I could not try the ECV and have to have a section anyway.

As it turned out, the c section was amazingly relaxed and a surprisingly pleasant experience. I actually had a real good laugh with the staff and my husband throughout it!

I have gone off on a tangent - anyway, double check if they can try the ECV if you want to try it. If not, there is still time for baby to flip around!

Baby refused to budge at 28 weeks. And 31 weeks. And 34 weeks. By the time I was seen this week she'd turned herself and was 3/5 engaged. I'm 37 weeks on Monday. My sister was breech right up until she was born so it's not unheard of for babies to turn of their own accord after 37 weeks.

Hello - my baby is breech and has been since the 20 week scan - I'm 39 weeks and have been booked for a c section on Mon. I will need a scan before the procedure to check if she is still breech as they can turn at the very last minute. I'm not holding out for that though as she has been breech throughout the whole pregnancy and I am of the opinion that she is breech for a reason (I turned down an ECV)
