I've done everything, the house is immaculate, the bags have been packed, re-packed and re-re-packed. I need something to distract me for the next hour - ideas??

Have something substantial to eat. I didn't and was starving several hours into labour and wasn't allowed to eat then in case I needed a c-section.

Oh, and good luck!

My induction was nearly 10 weeks ago now and was absolutely fine.

Just made a Brew, well tried to - didn't notice that I'd poured hot water into a mug with no tea bag Hmm.

Don't really feel like eating at all, but know you are right - will give it a go...

If you haven't already got them get some magazines, my induction involved over 30 hours of hanging around with nothing happening followed by 6 hours of actual labour. Also despite having been terrified of the drip it wasn't actually that bad, top tip is to try and keep upright as I'm sure it helped speed things up for me.

Hope all goes well.
