Wondering if anyone has any good tips or anything reassuring to say about indigestion. It makes me feel like i've eaten far too much even if i've just had a small snack. I get it constantly, even when i'm so hungry that i'm sick and the thought of putting anything in my stomach, including water, is just horrendous. Its not only majorly uncomfortable but disgusting because i end up belching all the time. I'm 14 weeks so was hoping that about now would be when i started to feel better. Has anyone had bad indigestion that magically disappeared? Or is this it for the next 6 months?

Watching with interest I have this problem too. Spending all night burping in front of the tv!

Only thing that ever cured my constant indigestion was a small amount of bread soda diluted in warm water.
Instant relief Smile

Peptac. Get it from the pharmacist and you take it after meals and before bed(i think)
Works a treat and cured me after weeks of discomfort and not sleeping my pharmacist friend recommended it.
Comes in a big old fashioned glass bottle and is a saviour! There are a few different flavours so ask which they have.

Retired-Nurse-MIL prescribed me ice cream. It only works temporarily but it definitely cheers me up!

Gaviscon for when it's really bad, and keeping as upright as possible - 3 pillows in bed Shock I'm 27+4 and a hand on the top of my bump with some gentle pressure seems to calm ds down enough to stop using my stomach as a punch bag... At least sometimes...

thanks ladies, I'll give peptac a go. I would try ice cream but I've gone off anything naughty, or anything that has even a tiny amount of fat in it.
