I'm currently 31 + 4 with a head down but posterior baby. I know she has plenty of time to turn, but I'm interested in doing my best to help her. This site is always being recommended, and some of it is really interesting. But I'm just not sure how much to trust it. Lots of the advice makes a lot of sense, but on this bit, several of the exercises involve lying flat on your back: www.spinningbabies.com/more-info/for-pregnancy/daily-activities Aren't we advised not to do that? Plus lying on your back is supposedly one of the causes of posterior baby...
I do think it is an interesting site (apart from finding it a little hard to navigate- particularly the belly mapping bit, but I'm starting to think the advice shouldn't be taken too literally. There is a bibliography, but the statements throughout the site are not referenced in any detail- doesn't this mean it could be largely medically unverified?
Would be interested to hear any of your thoughts / experiences (positive and negative!) using the advice given on this site as it is so often recommended as the site you should look at when interested in optimal foetal positioning.
