I'm having pains in my stomach, no bleeding and the soreness in my boobs has completley gone. Something doesn't feel right and I'm so scared

I'm not sure, but if I were you, i would just phone them anyway. You have nothing to lose. Hope everythings ok xx

MrGeresHamster · 28/08/2012 10:18

Ring them... it'll help to discuss. Hope all is well.

FluffyJawsOfDoom · 28/08/2012 10:35

Just phone the EPU. Fwiw, cramping in early pregnancy is pretty normal and usually nothing to worry over :)

seabuckthorn · 28/08/2012 10:35

Epu I would think? Heck I would ring everyone tbh.
Hope you are ok.

farfallarocks · 28/08/2012 10:38

It depends on where you are, call them and see if you can self-refer and if you need to have have bleeding to go in (some won;t see you just for loss of symptoms)
Good luck and try not to worry, boob soreness comes and goes

EPU won't take self referral, have spoken to my gp on the phone and he is seeing me at 4.30 fingers toes and everything else crossed xx

My local EPU allows self-referrals and I went in a few weeks ago for pain... Apparently it's relatively common and can come and go throughout pregnancy and unless you're also bleeding it's nothing to worry about. The sore boobs definitely also come and go.
Worth seeing the GP just to be sure, but try not to worry.

seabuckthorn · 28/08/2012 13:28

Good luck OP x

blackteaplease · 28/08/2012 14:11

Can you also call your midwife? She might be able to help faster than waiting for the GP to call at 4.30.

philbee · 28/08/2012 15:19

You can usually also go through a&e to get to the EPU. When I started bleeding last year I called the epu and said I was coming in, so when the a&e doc called them the sister just told them to get me over there.

Hope all is well, as others have said, boob tenderness comes and goes, and tummy pains are common. My understanding is that the first sign of mc, before any pain, is usually bleeding, and that was true in my case. Good luck, it's a horrible feeling.

Laura1037 · 28/08/2012 17:28

Thanks for the support ladies, I've been to my gp and he examined me. He is not concerned cause the pain is high so doesn't think its pregnancy related. Just got to keep an eye on ot

That's good news, always better to check for reassurance.

...now enjoy the next 18 years or so of worry Wink
