I am 32 weeks pg and I thought I read somewhere that I should be getting Braxton Hicks feelings by now. Is this true or is there time yet?

Some folk never get them at all, don't worry.

You don't necessarily feel them at all, so don't panic! Grin

You don't always get them at all ... I didn't have them, and my mother only had them with her third baby.

Don't panic! I didn't get them at all - kept waiting & waiting & they never happened.

In my first pregnancy I didn't get them at all - even though ds1 was over a week late. In my 2nd pregnancy they only started about a week before ds2 was born. Even the 3rd time around they didn't start until about 34wks.

Some people get them earlier but others never get them at all.

Cant remember when I got mine, think it was later than 32 weeks.
They felt like a tightness around 'the bump', like it was stretching, and followed by a shortness of breath. Only lasted few seconds each, and didnt hurt. I believe many people dont have/experience them, and probably feel them in different ways.

i have been having braxton hicks for about 4 wks now. I am 28+5wk but i had them for wks before my first. However they are stronger with this one. My tummy goes completley hard and i sometimes feel i cant move. I know its not labour because nothing has come of it Grini also get period type pains that last for about an hour but i think its just the body preparing its self for the birth.
Some people dont feel them or feel them as that strong, everyone is different.
