Cramping is pretty much universal until 8 weeks or so, some people have it longer than that. The sickness doesn't kick in for most people until 6-8 weeks, but some people get it straight away and some never feel sick at all (lucky people!) if you aren't bleeding the cramping is fine, unless you start to feel really unwell, or it's one sided pain, in which case you need to see your gp.

I had cramping, but no bleeding. I think it's fairly typical of early pregnancy.

It went away and then came back again at 14-16 weeks.

I think the only time to worry would be if you get any bleeding, start to feel unwell, get a temperature, or severe pain on one side.

Congratulations!

i still got cramps n pains up til now (19 wks) although it seems less often now. All this stuff nobody tells you to expect im glad i made my way to mn its kept me sane cos i can ask something even of its daft and find out its all 'normal'. also at around 5 weeks i discovered google was in fact a nasty evil thing so keep away :-D

Cramping is totally normal, your uterus is stretching and growing to accommodate the newest addition ;)

I had cramps til 8 weeks, and a little bleeding too but everything was A-okay.
