Ok, had a look on reviews pages but nothing there. I want to invest in a nursing pillow to save my arms. Any good suggestions?

I had a widgey, it was brill. Nice and firm so baby doesn't sink down. some of the doughnut shaped cushions are very squishy. You can take off the cover to wash it or replace if you get bored of it & also be used as a baby support cushion when your little one starts sitting up.
I couldn't have managed without mine after my c section.

Cool, thats what I was wondering about, it being too squishy and not supportive enough.

You can also use a standerd v-shaped pillow. I am currently looking at one of these as didnt invest in one with dd, they are a lot cheaper than nursing pillows. I have found a. very nice looking one in john lewis for £25 but there are also much cheaper ones from about £10.

A regular pillow will do or a preg sleeping pillow. You will only use it around the house anyway and not out and about. If you have little boobs, no pillow in the world is going get the child high enough to save your arms so get a chair with armrests instead. Grin

See how you feel once baby arrives as they can be expensive and you may not even use it. My friend purchased one but didn't use it at all so I didn't buy on whilst pregnant. .

When dd arrived I ended up using a normal sofa cushion or bed pillow until my mum noticed and brought me a v shaped pillow from dunelm for £10. It went everywhere with me (bed, sofa, picnics!).

It really depends on how you position yourself whilst nursing, how tall you are, how big (or saggy Grin) your boobs are, as to whether you'll use it. It helped me because I'm tall and have a tall torso so it propped dd up for me! Wink

All the best Smile

What WillowB said. I loved my Widgey cushion, am now using it for Dd2. She's 6 months now so it also doubles up as a support cushion for her to sit up in. My eldest dd likes bf her teddies using it too! I have large boobs though so don't know how useful it'd be if you had small perky ones(I wish sigh..!).

I had a widgey from about 2 months, it was so much more comfortable. I struggled with squashy normal pillows and my super long maternity pillow for breastfeeding. I have small boobs (B cup whilst feeding) and I found this was the only pillow I could use in bed at 3am in Jan/Feb when it was freezing getting out of bed! Quite expensive I thought but got it in the sale on Amazon but would pay again as it was so good! And like salvadory says good for when baby starts to sit up.

I had one called my Brest friend, honestly if you can get your hands on one buy it now t was the best nursing pillow ever, plus you Velcro it on and it stays in position!
