Just that really....I've been suffering from morning sickness which up until yesterday was unpleasant but bearable. Yesterday was horrific, I couldn't keep a single thing down all day and must of thrown up about 15 times. I've tried ginger things, those sea band wrist thingies but nothing is working. I wake up in the middle of the night and immediately feel sick, first thing i do is throw up in the morning then immediately after ive eaten breakfast. Today seems to be heading in the same direction as yesterday.

Excuse the pun but I'm sick of it already!

Any help or hints would be appreciated

You have my heartfelt sympathy! I had hyperemesis until 5 months and know how physically and emotionally draining the constant sickness is! My regret is not getting medical treatment earlier than I did. I was chronically dehydrated by the time I was admitted to hospital. So...my best advice is get to the doctor fast. Request anti-emetics. Do whatever you can to keep fluid levels up - didn't work for me but some say ice lollies, ice cubes or small sips of coke worked. Have whatever you can...the food is much less of an issue...concentrate on not getting dehydrated as this is a vicious cycle and will make everything worse.

I honestly wish you better...I feel so much for you.

X

Perhaps worth a visit to GP? I don't know what they do about sickness now as it is 10 years since I was pregnant.
It may be worth trying to eat a little something before you even get out of bed, a biscuit or something.
I was terribly sick all the way through, but in the later stages having a couple of fig rolls before I got out of bed was a bit of a help. Raspberry milkshakes were also my saviour.
I really feel for you, and hope it is very shortlived x

Thanks both for your replies, I'm feeling a little better now (touch wood).
I will call my gp in the morning when they open for further advice

Thanks again

Hope it isnt HG....

I had that for the entire 9 months, up until 1 hour before i gave birth.

It was horrible.... my GP wouldnt prescribe anti emetics, until i had reached the point where i couldnt even take them without vomitting them, so i ended up in hospital.
I was then on max dose tablets for my whole pregnancy and still being sick Sad, but only once or twice a day, not 20 times!

I would go to GP and get your urine tested for ketones, as that shows if you are getting proper dehydrated.... and see if they will prescribe tablets.

and try being still and maybe try ice lollies or ice to help keep hydrated.

When i was at my illest lieing completely still in a dark room was the only thing i could do.

I had this and had to have anti-sick tablets from gp. The only thing that helped was glucose, I had to take a glucose tablet / drink lucozade in the early hours of the morning, before getting up. If I got up and wasn't sick, I found that milk / milkshake was the best thing for me to have first until I felt well enough for solids. Hope you feel better soon, I had it all the way through Sad and if one more person had said "isn't that meant to stop at 12 weeks..." I would not have been responsible for my actions! Angry

Funnily enough I used to swear by lucozade as a hangover cure so perhaps it will work for this too!

Yes delilahlilah I remember that too, I was ready to order a hit on the next person to suggest drinking ginger tea.

Mrsb999 Try acupuncture - I had two treatments 4 weeks ago (I'm 12 weeks now) and that horrible 24/7 nausea was almost completely gone after just a couple of days. Acupuncture is not cheap, but it's money really well spent - I got my life back.
