No morning sickness until week 10-11, is this normal?

I've felt absolutely fine up until now. Well, exhausted but not sick...but suddenly morning sickness has come in with a vengeance it seems. Is this normal or could it be a tummy bug?

This is my first pregnancy and I''m now 27 weeks - my first learn was everyone is different & everyone's pregnancies are different, there is no 'normal' or 'abnormal'.

I've never had any actual sickness , just the exhaustion you mention and severe nausea so it could very well be morning sickness, just some ladies start later than others. Hope you feel better soon! Smile

My ms didn't fully kick in until weeks 9-11 (never actually got sick, just felt nauseous all day long). I'm now 12+2 and think hoping it's subsiding, although it might just be masked by the awful cold I'm currently fighting off.

Btw, at week 11 I finally did the ginger-biscuit-by-the-side-of-the-bed morning nibble and it seemed to help. That and lots of small meals throughout the day.

I didn't start until about week 10. It then went on through to week 20 or so. No actual puking, just felt nauseous all the time. Now at week 27, and it's still up there in my three least favourite pregnancy symptons.

Thanks for all your advice. I've just been to the docs and turns out I have food poisoning, explains why it's so violent and I have learnt my lesson about buying yogurts from the dodgy corner shop - don't do it. On the brightside at least it has well and truly cured my yoghurt craving. Now just to feel better...
