Nursing bras

I am now 37+5 and have just been for a nursing bra fitting. The conclusion was that I need a 32F/FF but unfortunately there nothing for me to choose from :(. I am trying to get hold of something online but am now wondering whether this is wise as I don't know how the different brands are going to come up size wise? I have been looking at Hot Milk and Anita in particular but am certainly open to suggestions. Pretty and lacey would be lovely but should I be resigned to plain and firmly constructed?

Hey mothpop I'm the same size and had trouble finding ones I liked in my size. In the end i found a good selection of styles/sizes on Figleaves. Annoying you have to pay for delivery but I searched for an online discount so made it worthwhile :)

Happy shopping :)

Hi mothpop.
There was another thread about this just recently which may help.
I recommend hotmilk and also had some nice Royce ones. The sizes between brands and styles seem to vary quite a bit so I definitely recommend the home visit bra ladies that allow you to try before you buy.

I would advise only buying 1 or 2 and waiting until your milk comes in and then settles down again. What size you will be at that point (and then for some time after) is a bit of a guess at this stage.

Leia had some nice stuff and the fitting service is good. I tried Rigby and Peller and John Lewis and they didn't stock anything that wasn't purely functional.
Generally they all look like something out of the 1940's regardless of your boob size though. It's fairly hateful - you suddenly (in my case) get bigger boobs and have to wear tops up to your chin because the bras are so big and ugly.
You do have to wash them very frequently though so too much lace and it all starts to fall apart and look a bit saggy. I found it better to just live in the functional stuff and buy a few nice non-feeding ones for the very rare evenings out.
Re waiting - if you want to wear underwired ones (you can but they do need to fit well or they'll get v sore), best to wait. If not then you'll probably be fine.

Thanks ladies.
I've just ordered 2 very functional looking Royce bras and am going to reassess once delivered, milk has come in and settled down etc. I am dreading my boobs getting bigger than they already are - I'm going to end up with boobs that stick out almost as much as my bump!!!
