Legoland at 18 weeks?

I'd really like to take DS age 3 to Legoland before school hols start and before I get too big. Plus won't be able to take him for ages once I have a baby in tow.

I figured I would be ok at the stage to go on anything that is suitable for him. But looking at their site most of the rides say not suitable for pregnant women, back complaints, etc. I have a small bump but nothing that would get in the way of safety barriers, etc.

Are they just being ultra-cautious or am I silly to conisder this? WWYD?

I went to legoland at around 20 weeks so very similar to you, and most of the larger fast rides were out of bounds quite sensible really as if sudden jolt etc safety barrier would have crushed my bump. I went on on the slower stuff (some of which still said no pg women but i used my judgement) and my dh went on the faster things we all had a fab day. but as your ds is only 3 would he be going on the fast rides anyway? There's loads of rides so I don't think missing out on the roller coaster or the log flume will spoil your day too much plus at least you won't get soaked.

I agree with boggler - we went over half term when I was about 14 weeks, and it was fine. I didn't go on any of the really fast rides but there are lots of sedate ones there - use your judgement on them really.

I agree with the PP's, I went to Legoland at 24 weeks and went on the more sedate rides like fairytale wood, atlantis and boating school. Just use your judgement and you'll be fine, the hardest bit was getting back up the hill at the end of the day - I so nearly asked for a piggy back!

Thanks for the comments, we did go and had a great day.

My 3 year old isn't keen on "scary" rides so it worked fine. I'm really glad I did it and had a lovely day with my little man before the baby comes.
