Buggy I can run with?

I am HUGE. I've gained 3 stone already and am only 25 weeks. I am having a complicated pregnancy and have been put on bed rest, so lack of exercise isn't helping.

What I thought, is that once bub is here and Im fully recovered from my c-section, I can start running again (something i did before pregnancy 3 times weekly)

However, I would like to know which is the best cheap buggy suitable for this?

Suggestions/advice very much welcomed! Thank you x

I have babyjogger II (its a very old model, second hand). Not to be confused with babyjogger strollers. They have very lightweight frames with 3 big wheels.

Its great for sanity / exercise! Try ebay (e.g. www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Baby-Jogger-Performance-20-wheels-running-buggy-/190695752115?pt=UK_Baby_BabyTravel_Pushchairs_GL&hash=item2c665a41b3) but they tend not to be cheap I am afraid (and they take a lot of space - we store ours in the garage).

Still great though and wouldn;t be without it. They are not recommended before 6 months as it can be too bumpy for the baby and they don't have enough neck control.

I don't have any main recommendations but the bigger the wheel the better

Also it's recommended you don't run with it until baby is 6 months but this doesn't stop you walking fast of course

Mountain buggy do some fab ones especially for running. Google them.

As Jules I have a Babyjogger II with 20" wheels which is fantastic! Not cheap tough but can pick up second hand on Ebay. I also ran with my P&T Sport which although heavier enabled baby to lie flat thus eliminating the need for head huggers/supports whilst baby was small (good strength training!!) - have also run with P&T 2 up with toddler older child - challenging but doable. Cant beat a Babyjogger though.
