Ill at 29 weeks...when to call the midwife?

Definitely not morning sickness as that stopped at about 15 weeks.
Breakfast came back this morning after about an hour. Have been sick every half hour or so since. I'm hot, stucky and quite shaky.
How long do I wait before calling my MW or GP?

Could you have a stomach bug? Do u have a temp? I would call the midwife anyway and try to get fluids down if poss jus small sips xx

Having little sips of water but they just seem to be coming back. Have eaten only the same things and been in contact with the same people as my husband and he is not ill at all...though I suppose he might just has a better immune system.
Feel like I am making a nuisance of myself calling the midwife. Last time I called (at 16 weeks) I couldn't get through the receptionist and ended up having to wait until my 20 week appt!!

I would call the mw if I had been sick for over 24 hours, but tbh, unless you can be given anti biotics for something there's not a lot they can do.

Im 21 weeks and I had a migraine Sunday and spent most of the day in bed. Then 2am Monday morning through to 8 am mon morn I was being sick. About 15 times. In the end I was just bringing up bile (I think)

Didn't eat or drink anything until mid day yesterday and then I could only manage ice pops.

Had breakfast this morning and starting to feel a bit normal now. Had diahorrea too so must have been a bug.

I think you should rest, if you're bringing up fluids you take, don't drink or a couple of hours then maybe suck some ice. But if you're still ill or have a temp after 24 hours, thenbi would seek advice.

Call them, or the epu at the hospital. I was in and out of hospital with pre eclampsia and complications from week 28, and they really drummed it into all of us, you are NOT wasting their time, they would be very happy to check you over and send u home, than risk missing a complication, however slight. They won't mind. Hope u ok.

How are you ruidh?

Thanks everyone. I feel like I've been hit by a truck but the sickness has subsided. I've managed to keep down a little bit of toast too. Getting DH to run around after me so not all bad!!

My MIL is a midwife and she reassured me quite a lot. Considering I am slowly returning to normal and baby has been as active as normal today it was probably a bit of a bug.

Thanks again.
