Hi,

I hadn't thought of this before until someone mentioned it recently but are certain sleeping positions potentially harmful to your unborn baby? I heard it his harmful to your baby to sleep on your back and on the right hand side - I am 23 weeks. Is this just another scare story or is there some truth in it? I am not sleeping at all now 'cos I worry about it at night!!!

Thank you...

FLORIN - So glad you said that, I'm 36+1 & cannot bear to be on one side for longer than half an hour as my hips ache and its awfully painful. I dont sleep due to having to turn constantly.

OP - Stop worrying trust me when you get near the end any position thats comfy is a blessing. I agree with one poster sleep whilst you can. I have been up since 4am after a restless night & im now off to get ready for my last day of work. P.S I sleep on both sides & my back for about half an hour each time & me & baby are fine x
