Exactly what it says on the tin :-)
I can't imagine that it's possible to enjoy it.....

First 4 months were hell, ms, copious amounts of bleeding and a cervical stitch Sad.... Now I'm 22weeks, blooming and also loving the feel of the kicks and movements Grin..... Another 10 weeks and I might have a different view though Wink

JugglingWithTangentialOranges · 19/06/2012 10:49

Am so sorry for those here who've lost babies at any stage of pregnancy, birth, or neo-natal period. So sad for all Sad

Cheekychops84 · 19/06/2012 10:54

Deff found this one the worst even thonnithing serious has happened and it's been easy health wise very tiring being the third and working all the way through can't wait till Friday when I start my leave at 35 weeks

hefner · 19/06/2012 11:14

I loved it. I had a really easy pregnancy, not much sickness or pain. I was proud of my bump and I loved feeling the baby move. Can't wait to do it again!

scarlettsmummy2 · 19/06/2012 11:18

I loved every second with number two as I had no sickness! Did get a bit tired though x

mumeuro · 19/06/2012 11:33

I absolutely loved it and found all the changes to my body fascinating, only had a couple of bouts of morning sickness, only put on 7 kilos and have NO stretch marks. All at the age of 41/42, not bad!

MamaGeekChic · 19/06/2012 11:39

I really enjoyed it, feel quite nostalgic about it... apart from the strechmarks and the heart burn. I felt attractive (my normal slightly chubbiness was now a bump) I loved feeling her move around and hiccough, I had no sickness or other scary symptoms. The labour however was most definately hell not enjoyable...

GinPalace · 19/06/2012 11:48

first pregnancy, the only good things about it were the stronger orgasms, the absence of hideous hayfever (yayyyy) , and the baby movements. Grin

this time round I am most disappointed to still be suffering hayfever (why oh why) and not allowed to take the medicine for it, so sleeping badly and feeling quite irritable most of the time, which therefore means I am getting fewer of the monster orgasms too! Angry so is little compensation for being a small planet. Grin

StaceymReadyForNumber3 · 19/06/2012 11:55

hated it with first 2 dc's but am enjoying every moment of this 1 (currently 14 weeks) as have had 2 mc so just happy to be growing a baby!

ArtyJennie · 19/06/2012 13:09

I hate being pregnant. I hated it with DD1 and now with DD2. I was constantly sick for the 1st 20 weeks. I'm constantly tired. Ive got all manor of embarrassing ailments- Spots/dandruff/piles/thrush. I have spd slowly creeping up on me. I can't handle doing much without wanting to crawl up into a ball and hide so i'm so bored. The baby bit is wonderful and EASY compared to being pregnant imo.

The only good thing about being pregnant is feeling the kicks and squirms.

I don't think i could handle being pregnant again!

ButtonBoo · 19/06/2012 13:15

I loved every second! No morning sickness which I think helped. I had a pretty smooth pg except developed PE in the last month. I'm getting severe bump envy. Trying to convince dp to ttc dc2. DD is 8mo!

shouldIbecrossaboutthis · 19/06/2012 17:56

I'm 26 weeks first and I hate it so much I'm not having any more unless the stalk bring it - the sickness is unreal Sad

Only good bit is feeling and watching him move!

VickyandAlistair · 19/06/2012 20:43

Oh I bloody hated it. Threw up all day from 6-13 weeks (was hospitalised for dehydration at 10 weeks) just felt horribly nauseous from week 13-20, and from 20 weeks got horrendous heartburn to the point where I would literally be throwing up acid. I had horrible skin, felt exhausted, and very miserable and erratic. Went off all the food I usually liked and only liked eating jacket potatoes, custard, Tesco's hoisin duck wraps, and milkshakes. Had awful rib pain for the last 2 weeks of the pg too, and hardly slept, I couldnt wait for it to be over.

I had a few moments I liked though. I actually quite enjoyed my pg figure, until the end when I felt like a sea cow, but from 20-30 weeks I had a nice neat little bump, and I liked showing it off. Obviously I loved the scans, they were my fave thing of all.

My ds is 2 in Oct, but it still feels like yesterday when I saw the 'Pregnant 3+' come up on the Clearblue.. ah memories

Springforward · 19/06/2012 20:56

1st trimester was a blur of tiredness and nausea.

2nd trimester was nice, I actually did that glowing thing!

3rd trimester wasn't too bad but I got fed up of moving so slowly and being uncomfortable.

So, on balance, could have been worse!

PiedWagtail · 19/06/2012 21:08

I loved it! I had very easy pregnancies though - with dd I felt sick all the time and lost lots of weight :) and with ds I had very low bp so felt faint a lot of the time, but really, I was blessed. I loved feeling pregnant and my skin and hair looked great. I loved feeling the babies grow inside me and feeling them quicken. Good at being pg, crap at labour!! That's me :)

bansku · 19/06/2012 21:17

My firts pregnancy was really easy and I loved to be pregnant.

Second one was awful from the start, depression, tiredness, morning sickness and so on. After 32 weeks I started to feel good and really enjoyed the pregnancy. Unfortunately got pre-enclampsia and the labour was induced at week 37. I probably would be still pregnant if no PE :(.

oikopolis · 19/06/2012 23:03

Early days were fine. Didn't feel pregnant, just sleepy.

Weeks 8-14, dreadful. Nausea, heartburn, bloating, tiredness, and then weepy & fidgety & whiney due to tiredness. horrible. DH hated every moment of it, he felt like he couldn't help, worried that i was more sick than normal, worried that i was hardly eating.

Weeks 14-28 have been great. best sex of my life, nice big boobs, appetite back!

we'll see what 3rd trimester brings... it's starting to get slightly difficult to get around, that's obviously going to get worse.

seabuckthorn · 20/06/2012 05:39

I love being pregnant. I hate the worry, the stress and the isolation.

TheBigRazzoo · 20/06/2012 08:54

The two things I've compared being pregnant to in my head have been undergoing chemotherapy (first trimester) and having ME (second trimester) so not in my top 10 favourite experiences!! I'm only 18 weeks pregnant so don't know what delights 3rd trimester will hold. On top of that I am batshit crazy and clinically depressed and almost psychotically obsessed with protecting my unborn baby, which I only have to think about for 3 seconds before I start weeping in case any harm comes to it, ever, in its whole life.
Before I got pregnant my general impression of it was that bits of it would be enjoyable, but actually when you start telling people you're not enjoying it, it's amazing how many women say 'Oh my God my experience of being pregnant was awful'. Hoping the babber is a boy so it doesn't have to do this later in life!

CharleyAB · 20/06/2012 09:06

I'm 14 weeks and so far hate it. I feel sick most of the time, my pelvis is in agony so I limp when I get up and limp when i walk and am in pain when i walk. It's all great

shrimponastick · 20/06/2012 09:10

I have only done it the once, but I loved it.

No sickness, stretchmarks, heartburn. All fine.

At the end of it I got a lovely baby - (who is now a 6 foot smelly teenager! Grin)
