Yes!

TwinMummy30 · 13/06/2012 11:19

They are fine as long as they are cooked properly, not runny.

Flisspaps · 13/06/2012 11:28

Even runny eggs that are lion marked should be fine. The risk from runny eggs is salmonella, but the lion mark indicates vaccination against that.

Phew! I'm in love with runny egg an toast soldiers just now :0)

I've eaten runny eggs through my DS' pregnancy and this one and never had any trouble, it was the one thing I couldn't deprive myself of!

Pootle78 · 13/06/2012 12:29

I didn't eat eggs with ds as thought what's the point of an egg that's not runny?! He is now allergic to eggs in solid form (scramble, omlette, quiche but is ok with pancakes and cake) so this time round runny eggs all round to make sure we don't have the same problem!

I'm loving a dippy egg!
I think as long as they are lion stamped you are fine.
The rules change often. You can Stilton now you know?!

PixieCake · 13/06/2012 14:46

I never knew that about the Lion mark!

Does that mean that I can have runny fried eggs in a fry up then?

Flisspaps · 13/06/2012 19:37

If they're Lion marked, I don't see why not.

sparklekitty · 13/06/2012 19:48
