Thinking of buying something for a friend who gave me some hand me downs for baby, any ideas what to buy?

All of the items are in great condition and used by one or both of her sons - Britax baby car seat, very good quality baby rocking/ vibrating chair, baby carrier, moses basket and two lovely play mats with some toys.

I am not sure what gift would be appropriate and how much to spend. Any ideas?

Same situation here, I was thinking wine or chocolate (always appreciated) or a voucher for them to take the kids somewhere maybe?

Get her something for herself - a treat! Wine/Chocs but something like skincare, nice bracelet, etc.

My friend has given me absolutely tonnes of stuff for DD and although we could afford to buy most of if pushed, it has been a big help that we have not needed to. I always get her a really good birthday and Christmas pressie and after the first lots of stuff, I got her a lovely present (smellies, etc) that was for herself and that she could enjoy.

Once my children have finished with it, it will all be passed on again to someone else. Pay it forward and all that!

I've no idea how much you're wanting to spend, but assuming she has a partner - maybe you could treat them to a nice meal? After all, I assume it was both of them who paid for it originally?

I was also thinking of skincare or bracelet. When I asked her recently what she wanted for her birthday she asked for garden centre vouchers, so maybe I could get her something like this for the baby stuff: www.notonthehighstreet.com/auntmaud/product/purple-french-lavender-in-rose-ceramic-pot
