And then i have to push it out. ive always known it was going to have to come out, but seriously it hit me really bad last night, ive put of doing my bag for so long as it seemed real, i started it last night and broke down half way through.

2 weeks is all thats left, i remember being 7 weeks pregnant and crying for it to be over when all i could eat was salt and vinegar crisps, i know how its going to come out and im not liking it 1 little bit. i had no sleep last night panicking thinking what if i go early, it might not even be 2 weeks left i could go tomorrow, im not prepared at all, i havent shaved my legs in weeks for starters and im waiting for my new foot buffer to come before i tackle my feet.

its not fair!

emily it was DH suggested it was labour first, I told him it couldn't be as there weren't any contractions for me to time with my app Blush Grin

An hour later and still in agony, I thought maybe I should believe him! Didn't know until DS came out that he had been back to back, but having read up a lot on it since, apparently constant pain rather than contractions is fairly common. Try to keep upright though, as b2b babies generally aren't pressing as hard on your cervix which is why it can take longer to dilate.

Flynn, you will be ok. There will come a point when you just feel that you ought to pack your bag (it sounds like you're almost there!) and it will probably be in time. If you didn't pack a bag til the last minute it wouldn't be the end of the world either. I am pregnant with dc#4 and my labours have all been 'fine'. I've gone on to have more children and haven't been put off. There is an amazing, amazing sense of accomplishment and joy when you first hold your baby which mutes the pain that you experience. I listened to some birthing hypnotherapy cd's which really helped me last time too. It gave me something to focus on 'doing'. Good luck, you will be fine!
