Pretty summer dresses suitable for breastfeeding

Hi all
I'm 39 weeks pregnant today and the sun is shining! Great, although I have zero appropriate summer dresses suitable for breastfeeding. I'm looking for pretty cotton, good value dresses. I've had a quick look around some of the shops but am completely uninspired. Any help would be welcomed please!

Asda has some wraps. Sainsbury's have buttoned ones and so does Tesco

I have worn a maxi dress in stretchy jersey and just pulled one side down. You may want a muslin or something to cover up a bit though.

This thread inspired me. Just ordered the maxi dress from Frugi, actually designed for the job!

Try www.blossomingbump.com/nursing-dresses/ The tara dress has a lovely print and alot of the stuff can be worn during pregnancy too.

Thanks all, some good ideas.

I think a lightweight denim shirt dress would be ideal too (especially if the buttons are poppers)..

White Stuff generally have pretty button front dresses. I bought a wrap style dress from New Look but after only two weeks it's looking very bobbly and worn so I'd maybe go for higher quality given how often it'll be worn and washed

I economised on bf dresses at first and then when it went well (took me 4 children to get the hang of it though….!) I bought a couple of more expensive ones - in the sale but still not the cheapest. (Isabella Oliver, Milk, Frugi and a couple of boutiquey multi brand sites). Have now been wearing them nonstop for 2.5 years - getting a bit sick of them to be honest but have worn them so constantly if you are going to bf for a long time it might be worth spending a bit more on a couple of things as a long term economy. Also got a couple of breastvests - think you can google that. Long over the tummy but leave the breasts exposed so you can wear other tops over them and still have instant access. Also bought a massive dark blue scarf covered with stars from the high st to cover the baby if he was distracted - so he could pretend it was a starry night snuggled under there! All used constantly since 2011 and wearing today!

I bought a couple of button down summer dresses in topshop and new look which work really well. Also some strappy vest style dresses in primark (£5!!!!) which I wear a vest underneath. I pull the vest up (have cut the bottom off like a crop top length) and pull the dress part under my boob. This works perfectly for us! I don't like to flash the top of my boob/chest too much so the one up one down vest thing is how I feel comfy and it's also really discrete! I LOVE dresses and struggled in jeans and tshirts for ages before I figured out what to buy Smile
