Do you worry about your baby's (lack of) movements?

This is my third pregnancy and I've found that every time I get worried about the baby's movements, getting to a point in the day where I think "My god I haven't felt her/him all day" and then waiting anxiously if I'll feel a kick...
Don't know where the line is between justified concern and paranoid obsessing.

I've always been able to give the bump a nudge, or sit in a position I'm sure is uncomfortable for the baby until I get a kick!
Lack of movement can be a sign of a problem, so I think this is justified. This is my third, too.

Its perfectly normal to panic. I didn't with my first pregnancy until I casually mentioned to my Dr that I hadn't felt DD move for the past day. All was calm until I was rushed to the hospital for an emergency scan. I was ever never calm from that point on!
DD was fine btw, she was breech so I didn't feel her kicking.

I went on to panic all the way through my 2nd pregnancy.

May I suggest a cold drink or an ice lolly for getting baby to move if you are worried?

You may already know that, but HTH anyway x

perfectly normal to panic - especially when you've had a few problems. We had recurrent scans with dd because she wasn't growing properly (as it turned out) and I can remember being totally paranoid about her movements. I can remember sitting at my desk at work almost to the point of tears because she hadn't moved for a while. IIRC, you've had a worrying time lately so think this is normal but, whenever I did mention to a midwife/doctor I was worried they whisked me straight in for monitoring and was made to feel like it was completely normal (to worry). So, if in doubt, ring your midwife (or antenatal ward over the weekend). I was given an old fashioned kick chart at one point and when I actually REALLY monitored it, I was surprised how soon I got to 10 kicks.

HTH. Try not to worry (easier said than done I know !).

I did the same I printed off a chart from excell and actually monitored 10 kicks twice a day. I think I got a bit obsessive, If ever I hadnt felt any kicks by the evening I would try.
Laying down and prodding it, eating a icelolly or a really cold fizzy drink.
