omg.........What a day.

I have had a ok pregnancy, not much sickness, the odd water infection and a few bursts of high blood pressure, but nothing to moan about I have had friends who suffered for 9 whole monthes.

Today I woke up with the most horrendus back ache and I feel I can barely more,I went to the shops and had lunch out,but even getting in and out of the car was a strain, like I could get in but couldnt then more my leg that was outside the car in,if you know what I mean,my baby feels like he/she has moved a little bit,but like a move that made me stop and take a minute to recover.I feel abit annoyed with myself because I feel like my friends thought I was putting it on because it the first time I felt limited in my movements and really really achey.my friend laughed and said its just the pleasure of pregnancy.............its no bloomin pleasure.

is this normal?,I am 35 weeks btw.

Don't know if it's normal but I'm 35 weeks now too and having much of the same so you're not alone! Horrible back ache, can't get comfortable at all just want to keep moving gently. Eventually thought to take some paracetamol which has helped a bit. Also borrowed a big gym ball which is a bit more comfortable to sit on. Not looking forward to this for another 5 weeks (but hoping it's not a sign that things are getting going).
If it gets worse think about getting checked on maternity.

Get on all fours and stick your bum in the air - that really helped my back pain with dd1. Not elegant though Grin

Agree a birthing ball will be useful, as will lots of baths.

Baby might have moved back to back, but don't worry they can turn quickly.

Birthing ball def and second going on all fours. Was like this at the end of my last pregnancy but good news is that it disappears when baby pops out! X

I had SPD last time and I don't think anyone (including me!) appreciated how bad it was. I remember my sister (who also had SPD at the time) and I going out and somehow managing to take it in turns to be in the most pain and had to keep holding each other up. I honestly don't think we realised that this wasn't normal in pregnancy. It was bloody agony. I feel for you! Sad

Ask your mw for a referral to a physio. Even this late I'm sure the can give some good advice. Good luck and I hope it eases up soon.

I have a birthing ball and was on all fours before, but its like nothing helps,I havnt had any pain killers so might get some in a min,I dont think I could take this for 5 weeks,I know I will cry,get cranky and want to give up.

last week when I was at the midwife she said the baby was all on my left, which I sort of knew because I felt wonky, sort of,she did say the baby would move back to the middle.

arh my lovely hubby is going to run me a warm bath.its so not fair for men not to feel the pain,Thanks ladies
