Dry skin in pregnancy

Hi all! Am 18weeks PG now and since i became pregnant the skin on my face has been bad. Started off as rosacea (which I had pre PG) and now the spots are clearing and I'm now experiencing really dry skin. Currently using aloe Vera wash once a day and moisturiser twice a day, both from the body shop. Still really dry, any other suggestions? Thanks!

ive always used aqueous cream. Someone told me to use bio oil but i wouldnt DREAM of putting that near my face!

I had exactly the same. I have dry and sensitive skin normally but it got very bad this pregnancy. I am using Aveeno and have found it brilliant.

I'm the same and only 6 wks. My forehead is especially bad very dry and flaky which is even more horrible if I put any make up near it Sad
Dr gave me some aqueous cream which my skin is soaking up but can't says its helping too much as I still can't wear make up. It is instant cooling relief though so its not itchy etc.

I used to use aqueous cream but it's so thick! My skin is so bad atm though maybe I should try again. Maybe aveeno first tho

I've not heard of aveeno I'll look for some worth trying.

I always had very oily skin on my face but since about 12-13 weeks I started getting really dry skin all over. I'm using Garnier day cream for dry skin on my face and Vaseline Intensive Care everywhere else which is great so far at least! Try moisturising after a bath or shower as your skin will absorb more.

my doctor gave me balneum oil for the bath and its amazeballs!

My hands were so bad I thought I'd developed eczema. Nothing helped. Within hours of DD being born it improved and was gone in a week. Same with DS.

Great, thank you for all the suggestions. I'll try them all but think it'll on resolve once little one is out! Small price to pay I guess

Hi
I suffer with dry skin and have found a Miracle cream. Sold in boots
Avene skin recovery cream ( not aveno) £12 for a bottle but worked wonders for me and I always use it now. ( in facility skin care isle )

Dont know if this is any help, but Botanics do a lovely thick face cream - I use the one for sensitive skin & it doesn't cause flare ups. Also flisspaps I'm the same as you with dry hands - mine are itchy, dry & cracked. I've found cocoa butter (palmers - the one for dry skin) & keeping my hands cool seems to do the trick
