Ok I am full of questions this morning lol. Whats the best (natural) way to ease things up.

Last friday I felt very bloated and uncomfotable with it - its eased up a fair bit and I am 'going' (Sorry TMI!!) but its small bits and fairly hard work!

Thanks!

GD

Prune juice?

Most pregnant people get prescribed lactulose as it softens things up, which it sounds like you need. It's vile but keep it in the fridge and it's bareable!

I'm having the opposite problem atm Blush

Drink prune juice and eat prunes before going to bed. Should get things moving in the morning. Also, drink loads of water all day long and eat lots of fruit and veg.

I remember that stage where I could only squeeze out a few rabbit droppings - terrible! Seems to have eased up now though!

I have Fybogel every evening. It's keeps me regular during pregnancy. It's a sachet of powder you mix into water and it's full of fibre and keeps the water in your stools. Easy to get in Boots or Tesco's or wherever.

prunes, dried fruit, orange juice, prune juice, bran flakes, drink lots and lots of water, and lactulose if it gets really bad.

The Doctor who saw me in hospital over the weekend said avoid bananas, too.

dried prune worked really well for me and as always lots of water
good luck, hope it will get better quickly

Dried prunes and the like did nothing for me, but then I eat masses of fruit all the time so I think I'm immune. Apple juice in vast quantities seemed to help a bit yesterday though, in spite of the bananas I'm scoffing as someone told me they help with twitchy legs...

And people reckon the hard bit is the sleepless nights with a new baby, hah. I can't WAIT to be in full ownership of my body again (well, bf'ing aside)

Hello - I suffer v badly with this when P:( I have tried the prunes/orange juice/dried apricots etc, which did help a bit, but not a great deal, plus I ended up HATING them! Then I went for reflexology for something else and it has worked a treat! A couple of other women I know also found this. Good luck, hope you sort it
