Anyone know if I can move hospitals, midwives etc in 3rd Tri?

If I go to stay with my mum, can I book into a different hospital etc? Think I need to leave.

I am fairly sure you can. Sounds like you are in a bad situation and making a brave decison - good luck.

If your community midwife is good I suggest you ring her and have a chat as she may well be able to help and advise you about what you need to do.

You won't be the first to need to change - think how many people move house when they're pregnant.

Really hope it works out for you

Don't know if I can speak to anyone! Have started an incoherent thread in relationships. Probably not as bad as it sounds. No abuse, thank God, just misery!

Yes, I did with my first a month before due date. Just registered as a temp resident with mums doctor, who then gave me a letter to take to the hospital. Totally straight forward.

Yes, I move a few days before.

I moved house at 36 weeks and changed community midwife without a problem. They were ready with the hospital booking paperwork too, but I hadn't moved (quite) that far. If you are worried, ring the (new) local services and ask, I'm sure they will be able to set your mind at rest.
