Anyone else being made to feel useless and a hindrance at work?

Roll on maternity leave, that's all I can say. I'm being made to perch on the most uncomfortable chair, padded with bloody blankets from the shop floor with no back support. I'm 32 weeks and getting to the backache/ no sleep/ hips from hell stage, and this is just adding to my hormonal bitch general mood!! I've asked politely more than once and in writing if my needs can be accommodated and we came to an arrangement...which no-one is bloody sticking to! Sorry for the moan, and I'm sure I'm about to hear far worse stories than this..it's just the huffing and puffing when I bring it up, the general lack of concern and how this is strangely making me feel a bit humiliated and useless (hormones as well probably). Anyone else out there having a total mare with work?

I can sympathise I am 32 weeks tomorrow. Just had to fight to have a new chair even though mine was cracked through the metal and high chance of it collapsing. Also just been told that when new person starts before I leave I will be sent to sit in the corner with no computer so can't do my current job and I will just have to do dogs body work. Make tea (which I don't drink) filing etc a huge drop from what I currently do. Feeling very fed up!

Oh no Florin, that's so horrible! Talk about making you feel like an intern no-one can be bothered with! I think the further down the line you go towards leaving it's easy to just fade into the background - people think you've got one foot out the door so you get treated a bit that way. Thinking about it maybe I have and it's all a bit cause and effect Wink

God, I'm having a right old grump here, but that's what no sleep and an achy EVERYTHING will do to you, right?!! Hope it gets better for you - just remember, not long now then work will be a distant memory Grin

Gosh I'm only 18 weeks and feeling that way already. I deal with quite difficult children and have asked time and again for additional support etc (a few are a health and safety issue with me being preg). I am trying my hardest to do my job as I had before and carry on as if nothing is different but I've had a tough first trimester knocking into second and I'm having to accept that I can't do things like I used to!
