Please inspire me - I'm really struggling with my 5-a-day

I'm 17 weeks and still feeling rubbish so I've just had four slices of toast for my tea Blush as I haven't the energy or stomach for cooking so am living on empty fillers. It's probably a vicious circle and I'll feel better if I eat healthier so has anyone got any easy healthy pregnancy faves that might inspire me to don my apron?

PS - I am eating fruit but I think you can only count two pieces of fruit towards your 5-a-day so I'm looking for ideas to help get veg down my reluctant gullet.

Angelyaz where do you buy apple rings from?

Sharond You can get them from most supermarkets, def morrisons and tesco anyway. Also we have one of those weigh and save shops that sell them. In the supermarkets try looking in the snack aisle, the baking aisle and the healthy food aisle - depending what size packet you get and from which aisle, the price can vary lots!

When I was pregnant I ate loads of vegetable risotto, pasta bake and mashed potato with peas/sweetcorn/tomato in. The only was I could keep veg down was to disguise it in carbs and fruit was a definite no-no.

Weird how pregnant bodies sometimes don't want healthy food Confused. You'd think it would be the opposite!

MissPolly thats good news! Its such a relief when you come out of that sickness phase.
I am now actually craving fruit and vegetables especially green veg like spinach and green beans and although I've been eating bread and baked goods, they don't seem to be agreeing with me afterwards and I've been feeling a bit sick.
