Got my BFP last Mon.

We've been ttc no.2 (already have DD who's 4) for 16 months now had 2 m/c both at 6 weeks.

Had to go to epau for bloods Friday and a scan Sat due to pain and they saw nothing on the scan so said it may be to early. On Friday my HCG was 302. Went for bloods yesterday just found out they are now just over 600 and have a rescan nxt sun. My last AF was March 9th so i thought i was 6 weeks but app. i'm not?!? Anyone know what my HcG suggests?

Really anxious to get past 6 weeks as this was when m/c happened feel so scared and cannot yet allow myself to imagine having our baby or feel happy, then i worry i'm causing stress to little bean and i'm going to bring m/c on myself?

Anyone ever been in the same boat or got any advice? x

Hi, so sorry to hear about your miscarriages, so heartbreaking, and really do make any future pregnancies so stressful.

I think it is a really good sign that your levels have doubled over 48 hours as I think in a normal pregnancy they will double every 48-72 hours, on average, in the early stages of pregnancy.

Have a look at www.betabase.info as there is lots of info on there, including average HCG levels. Your levels of 600 would suggest about 3 weeks since ovulation which would make you about 5 weeks pregnant, so too early to see much on a scan.

Best of luck x

4 weeks I was 432 mIU/ml
5 weeks I was 7,630 mIU/ml
6 weeks I was 56,800 mIU/ml
8 weeks I was 226,500 mIU/ml

They look for them to at least double but what they go to is less important as far as I recall. I know mine were really really high and they started muttering about a "molar" pregnancy - needless to say this was wrong.Smile
