I've been feeling weird for a few days now. It started with my boobs hurting at the start of the week, and over the course of the week they've got more painful, and are now also growing and firming up at the sides. I'm also stating to feel quite sick in the evenings, which is very unlike me as I only get nauseous when I've drunk too much. I had a MC last year and this is how I felt before I tested, but by the time I felt like this last time AF was already late. I don't know exactly when I'm due on or when I ovulated as it's all a bit erratic, but AF is due next week at some point, and this isn't how I feel in the run up.
Me and DP have been trying in the do it and see what happens sense, and since the first few post MC months I've not been symptom spotting, just being so out of character unwell is making us think maybe.
So what I'm asking is have any of you felt you had strong symptoms and ended up with a BFP?

Sorry op, also very best of luck to you if you are.

I always find symptoms to convince me I am - but I've had two pregnancies, and those are the only two times I've had to take gaviscon - and only a couple of days after conception! The heartburn then continues....

I knew I was the day after. Sickness started a few days after, craving tomatoes, my boobs started to leak(!) and I just 'knew'. Tested the day of my period and the lines were so bold there was no mistake. Btw, we weren't 'actively trying' ifswim.

For DC2, yes. I was walking home one day and I realised I felt a bit sick. A few days later I bought some baby toys in a charity shop and ate a big chunk of Stilton at a buffet (because once I'd done the test I wouldn't be allowed ). Waited til a whole month after LMP before I tested to be sure. Could n't be doing with maybes.

I did not know with my first two and didnt get a bfp until few days after missed AF but this time... early early nausea, right off red wine and sooo tired a week before due on. did test 4 days before due and strong positive line. Bit of a new years shocker, but all good :-)

newtonupontheheath · 15/04/2012 15:12

I thought I knew, was symptom spotting like a crazy person- nausea, check, aversion to tea, check, extreme tiredness check, sore boobs, check.... But I'd never actively ttc before so couldn't honestly have said whether I was like that when AF was due every month. I got 3 hundred bfns before I tested positive just to add to tension!

BikeRunSki · 15/04/2012 17:07

I can definitely eat Stilton, DD is 6 months old next week!

I had no idea (3 times pregnant) but my husband did EVERY TIME. takes some of the fun out of telling him

"Guess what, I'm pg,YAY"

him - "I've known for a week, your boobs are different"

"WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME?!!"

Chunkychicken · 15/04/2012 20:16

With DD my boobs were sooo sore but as I had a bit of a weird cycle the month before, I didn't know when AF was due so couldn't be sure. As it was, we were on honeymoon, so couldn't test anyway. DH said to me well before I tested, after I got undressed for a shower, 'you're pregnant!'.

With this current pg (8+6) I felt so dizzy & faint from about 9dpo, I had to test 2 days before AF was due, just to rule out a virus!!

FoxyRoxy · 15/04/2012 22:31

I knew when I ovulated as I get pains, 3 days after I woke up with spots and I knew then. 7 days past ovulation I was woken in the night with really sharp cramping on one side. I was not at all shocked when I got a bfp at 11 days past ovulation, although DH was since we'd been trying for 3 years!

So yes, I definitely knew before I was late.

FoxyRoxy · 15/04/2012 22:34

Oh, to add, with my DS I knew before as well, my boobs grew before AF was late.

I had no idea, until I did a test and then felt very stupid that my three month long PMS symptoms were in fact pregnancy ones

With DS1 i felt the implantation and felt odd and tired. With DC2 (due Sept) i had twinges from the day after conception to finding out and had a feeling that was it. Fingers crossed for you!
