am 32+5 weeks when I press down it hurts and when Im in bed and I turn over it almost brings me to tears. I went to see physio as had SPD symptoms and she reckoned it may be more muscular, but it has only been in the past week that this pain has escalated ment to be seeing the physio this week but can't as DP working away and no one to look after DS.
Bit unsure as to what to do as am panicking as it is as DS arrived at 34 weeks.
If anyone else has experienced this advice would be great!!

Hi Iowmum...
I had SPD a little earlier in my pregnancy, and had similar problems. Osteopath didn't help (though for me, acupressure did, strangely). Ended up sleeping on the (double) sofa bed as it meant I could 'roll', not 'turn' (if that makes sense) as i had more room without having DP beside me in bed. Helped the pain a lot, though not necessarily the relationship! As the bed was longways along the sofa, it also meant i could lean against the back of the sofa while lying on my side and that gave me better support, which also helped hte pain (which was also through my hips). Went into early labour at 33 weeks which got stopped through drugs at hospital (and i didn't start up again, luckily), and somehow the pelvic pain improved dramatically afterwards. Wouldn't recommend it as a solution though Wink. Did get different shooting pains down inner thighs for rest of the time instead Confused.

best of luck!

DP goes away for 2 & half weeks tomorrow (not helping me keep calm and am worrying I will go into labour while hes away) so means will have bed to myself so hopefully that will help and will try rolling over instead of turning cause that is what causes the pain!
Thank you for your post much appreciated
